Construction Collaboration
AssemblyBuilt, in partnership with mHUB Chicago, is launching a Construction Innovation Workshop inside mHUB’s HardTech Prototype Lab.
This Workshop is a panelized, moveable, and demountable structure built utilizing an automated light-gauge steel (LGS) framing system. It will serve as a living example of how digital workflows, automated framing, and next-generation product development come together. Inside the AssemblyBuilt Workshop: • AssemblyBuilt’s product development lab and product displays • A hands-on computer workstation with industry software for demonstrations and training • Sponsor signage, prominently featured Seven additional flex-space Workshops, using this same automated LGS framing technology, will also be constructed within the mHUB building site. This is not a static display. It’s an operational, real-world project that strengthens Chicago’s construction-innovation pipeline and demonstrates what collaboration and modern methods of construction make possible.
